# Best Social Deduction Games for Big Groups
Social deduction is one of the easiest ways to get a large group leaning in, accusing each other and laughing. The trick is choosing games that still flow with 6–10+ players.
## Deception: Murder in Hong Kong
Deception leans into quick rounds, clear information and very little night phase faffing. One player is the forensic scientist, giving structured clues from a board, which keeps the game moving.
It works especially well for newer players because:
- Accusations have some structure to them
- The "scientist" role gives a natural leader to keep things on track
- Eliminated players don’t feel hard-punished, as rounds are short
## Blood on the Clocktower
Blood on the Clocktower is the huge, theatrical option. It’s closer to a structured experience than a casual filler, but if you have a committed group it might be the best big-group deduction game out there.
Highlights:
- A storyteller running the game and pacing the story
- Player powers that stay relevant even after death
- Enough roles to keep regular groups experimenting for a long time
## The Chameleon
On the lighter end, The Chameleon is ideal when you want something quick and less intense. One player doesn’t know the secret word, everyone says a one-word clue, and then you vote for who looked most suspicious.
It’s a fantastic warm-up game before moving into heavier titles, or as a closer at the end of a night.
